agreed. its barely a game, its more of an interactive movie. the gameplay sequences are pointless. id much rather just have it play from scene to scene and ask me questions to branch the story in whichever direction i wanted it to go.
the story is like a 9.5/10 though, very good
i disagree. i prefer my 360 more than the others but i still bought a wii and ps3. this upcoming gen i will be buying a ps4 and 720 and i will buy them both on launch day. chances are i will still play my 720 the most but it wouldnt stop me from getting both at launch since being a gamer my whole life, logic tells me they will both provide something unique and worth getting them for

lol i could def see why that would irritate you. i havent got the game yet but i plan too. looks great and the demo was a lot of fun. the only thing i dont care for is the cast could be better.

as much as i like leveling up, i enjoy shooters without it more. halo 1/2 were so perfectly balanced and when you went against a level 50 in halo 2 it meant so much more than just they played a lot and had great gear. you know that person had crazy skills and at the same time you didnt have to worry about him having a scope or gun 10x better than the crap you did. everyone was on the same playing field with true skills being the only difference

a console that survived an enormous failure rate, a complete failure in an entire market ( japan ), and have only a handful of exclusives a year can be considered a beast as well.
i think its a safe bet to say amongst real gamers, both sony and ms did a pretty damn good job this gen and we all are very much anticipating their next consoles

agreed 100%, im a huge fan of the franchise and the last two games were pointless. ratchet is one of the few games that i feel needs zero fundamental changes. just switch up the story weapons and worlds each game and ill happily buy a new game each time.

halo 4s sp was nothing more than walk point a to b, press button repeat. they threw in the jet sequence and piloting the pelican for variety and added prometheans but i didnt care for their enemy types. they just werent fun to fight for me. story was great though.
now dont get me wrong, halo 4 is a great game, those are just what i think can b...
imo it could use.......
-revamped sp featuring new objectives other than walk a to b, press button, repeat.
-large scale sp battles featuring hundreds of characters on screen at once
-ship with 15+ maps
-full blown map editor like far cry
-new alien races
-epic story
-spaceship battles
-new vehicles
also anyone else feel like its a missed opportunity to not ship a sequel with every map from the old game...
they need to work on getting 16 players lag free first. id say 1/5 big team battles is laggy as hell

xbox doesnt say hi, 70million vs 24million is exactly that. 3+ times as many and since their goal isnt to be the first out this time its not as important to phase out the older system esp if they make your gamertags carry over and support both dashboards.
